Bay Area Medical Supply was a Santa Monica institution for nearly 45 years

— a trusted name for home medical equipment across the Westside.

In 1995, Wishing Well Medical acquired Bay Area Medical and carried its legacy forward, first from the longtime Santa Monica Boulevard location near Providence St. John’s, and today from our West Los Angeles showroom at 12420 Santa Monica Blvd.

The name changed. The commitment didn’t. The same hands-on service, deep product knowledge, and neighborhood trust that built Bay Area Medical’s reputation are what Wishing Well Medical is built on — now going on 50 years in business ourselves.

Not to be confused with newer companies operating under similar names, Bay Area Medical Supply’s story belongs here, on the Westside, where it started and where it continues.

Today, Wishing Well Medical carries the work forward: sales, rentals, and repairs of home medical equipment — hospital beds, wheelchairs, lift chairs, oxygen, walking aids, bathroom safety, and more — from a fully stocked showroom staffed by people who know the equipment.
