An extendable steel bed rail that adjusts from 23 to 30 inches long, with a curved support handle that detaches from the base with a button release. Fits traditional beds and wooden adjustable base beds with 10–12-inch mattresses. 300 lb capacity, ASTM F3186-17 certified.
This bed rail does two things: it keeps the user from rolling out of bed at night, and the curved handle gives them something solid to grip when getting in and out. The handle detaches from the base with a button press, so a caregiver can remove it during the day and click it back in at night.
The rail extends from 23 to 30 inches in length, which means it can cover more of the mattress edge when full fall protection is needed. Rail height is 19 inches from the base of the mattress. The frame is powder-coated steel in a champagne gold finish.
It attaches to the bed frame with a safety strap on traditional beds or with screws on wooden adjustable base beds. It fits mattresses between 10 and 12 inches thick. It is not compatible with metal bed frames.
A faux-leather organizer pouch and a cup holder are included and attach to the rail to keep a phone, glasses, remote, or water within reach.
