Wall-mounted grab bars available in lengths from 12 to 32 inches, in polished chrome or ivory white. Each bar has a knurled gripping surface and a 250-pound weight capacity. Can be used horizontally or vertically. Mounting hardware is included.
Grab bars provide a fixed point of support for balance and leverage in the bathroom. They are engineered as weight-bearing hardware. A towel bar is not, and should never be used as a substitute.
The tubing carries a knurled texture along the gripping area. Knurling is a machined cross-hatch pattern that maintains grip when hands are wet or soapy. A smooth polished bar becomes slippery under the same conditions.
Each bar can be installed horizontally or vertically. Horizontal placement supports lateral movement, such as transferring into a tub or standing from a toilet. Vertical placement supports pulling upward and is commonly installed at a shower entry.
Lengths range from 12 to 32 inches. Shorter bars are typically installed at a shower entry or beside a toilet. Longer bars are installed along a tub wall or across a shower wall, allowing the user to move along the length of the bar.
Polished chrome and ivory white. Both finishes use the same tubing, flange, and hardware specifications.
Grab bars must be anchored into wall studs or into blocking rated for the load. A grab bar fastened only into drywall is not a safe installation and will pull free under weight. The 2.5-inch fixed flange conceals the mounting point, and rubber gaskets seal the flange against the wall surface.
The 1.5-inch wall standoff provides clearance between the bar and the wall, allowing the hand to close fully around the tubing.
