Textured gloves that make compression stockings and sleeves easier to put on. The grip surface grasps and distributes the fabric evenly and protects the garment from snags. Sold per pair. Contains latex.
Compression garments are tight by design, which makes them hard to grip and pull into position by hand. Donning gloves have a textured grip surface that creates friction against the fabric. The grip lets the user grasp the stocking or sleeve, pull it up the limb, and smooth it into an even position without the fabric sliding through bare fingers.
The gloves also protect the garment during application. Fingernails, rings, and chapped skin catch and tear compression fabric, and a run in a compression stocking ends its useful life. The smooth grip surface distributes force across the fabric instead of concentrating it at a fingertip.
Donning gloves help anyone who puts on compression daily, and they help most for users with arthritis, reduced hand strength, or limited grip. They also make it easier for a caregiver applying a garment for someone else.
The gloves are sized to the hand and sold per pair. A colored band at the wrist marks the size so two people in a household can tell their pairs apart.
Contains latex. These gloves are not suitable for anyone with a latex allergy or sensitivity. Our compression stockings and sleeves are latex-free, but the donning gloves are not.
