A ten-pound three-wheel walker built for tight spaces. The single front wheel pivots, so it turns inside a doorway, clears a restaurant aisle, and gets through a bathroom door that stops a four-wheel rollator. No seat — that’s what keeps the weight down.
This is the lightest walking aid we stock with wheels and brakes. Ten pounds, three wheels, and a frame that folds down to 19 by 8.5 inches. It exists for one reason: to go places a four-wheel rollator physically can’t.
A four-wheel rollator has a fixed rectangular footprint. A three-wheel frame narrows to a single pivoting wheel at the front, so the turning radius is much tighter. That difference shows up in older apartments with narrow hallways, bathroom doorways, restaurants with tables close together, and crowded rooms generally.
At 25 inches wide and 24 inches long, it also takes up less floor space parked.
Three-wheel frames don’t have seats — there’s no space between the rear legs for one. That’s the trade-off, and it decides whether this is the right unit. If the user needs to sit and rest partway through a walk, they need a four-wheel rollator. If the user walks short distances indoors and the priority is getting through doorways without a fight, the seat is dead weight they’d be pushing around.
The other constraint is capacity: 250 pounds, against 300 on the four-wheel models.
Ten pounds is roughly half what a four-wheel rollator weighs, which matters for anyone lifting it into a trunk, carrying it up a step, or storing it in a closet. The telescoping side frame collapses in addition to the fold, bringing it down to 19 by 8.5 inches — small enough for a car trunk with room left over.
Eight-inch wheels handle sidewalks, thresholds, and carpet. Loop hand brakes squeeze to slow the walker and lock down to hold it in place.
Loop brakes take less grip strength than lever brakes, which is worth knowing if hand strength is a factor. Come test the pull before deciding.
Handles adjust from 31 to 38 inches — a wide range that covers most adult heights. Set correctly, the grips sit at wrist height with the user standing upright, arms relaxed. We set this in the store.
A tote bag is included and hangs in the frame. It’s the storage substitute for the under-seat pouch you’d get on a four-wheel model.
