The frame folds at a hinge under the seat for transport and storage. The rollator is a walking aid and is not used to transport a seated rider.
The seat measures 13 inches wide by 12 inches deep and is padded. Seat-to-floor height adjusts from 18 to 22 inches in one-inch increments. Width between the arms is 17 inches.
The padded backrest is hinged and removable. It folds up when not in use and detaches from its bracket by two thumb buttons. A hanging bag mounts under the seat for storage.
The rear wheels use loop lock brakes. Pulling up on the loops slows or stops the rollator. Pressing down on both loops locks the rear wheels in place, with an audible click at engagement. Pushing the loops back up releases them.
The brakes are locked before sitting. Brake cables loosen with use and require dealer adjustment.
The rollator adjusts in two places. Set handle height by removing the tightening knob, sliding the handle tube to the desired position, and replacing the knob. Handle height runs from 29.5 to 38 inches.
Leg height is set the same way, with a push pin releasing each leg. All four legs are set to the same height. Adjusting the legs is what changes the seat height.
The handles use orthotic grips.
The rollator rolls on 6-inch casters, sized for both indoor flooring and outdoor surfaces. The front casters swivel. Do not use the rollator on stairs or curbs.
The walker frame carries a limited lifetime warranty against factory defects in material or workmanship. All other components, assemblies, and parts carry a one-year warranty. Hand grips, brake cables, wheels, and the storage bag are wear items and are not covered.
