Wishing Well Medical carries rollator walkers at our West Los Angeles showroom. A rollator is a walker with wheels, hand brakes, and a seat, and each model is fitted to the user in person. Our four-wheel rollators include a model with 10-inch wheels for sidewalks and uneven pavement, a model with adjustable seat height, a basic everyday model, and a tall model for taller users. The lightest rollator in our showroom has a carbon fiber frame and weighs about 10 pounds. For tight indoor spaces, we carry lightweight and standard three-wheel walkers, which turn in a smaller radius and do not have a seat. Our chair/walker combination converts between a rollator and a transport chair.
Handle height should sit at the user’s wrist with the arms relaxed, and seat height should allow the user to sit with feet flat on the floor. The rollator’s weight capacity must exceed the user’s weight. Larger wheels roll more easily outdoors, and smaller wheels suit indoor use and narrow hallways. Folded size and frame weight determine how easily the rollator fits in a car. Our staff fit each rollator at the showroom, and we also offer rollator rentals for short-term needs.
